Key Features
Low-Noise Design
The PTAC system uses an optimized blower wheel with a diameter of approximately Ø120 × 700 mm, designed to operate at a lower rotational speed.
A vibration-isolated rotary compressor helps reduce operating vibration and sound transmission.
Depending on operating condition and model configuration, indoor sound levels can be as low as approximately 35/45 dB(A).
Room Freeze Protection
Freeze-protection control helps protect rooms and building services during cold conditions.
When indoor temperature falls to approximately 50°F, the unit can automatically activate the fan and electric heating function and raise the room temperature toward approximately 55°F.
Heat Pump & Electric Heating
Heat pump models can provide both cooling and heating for year-round room comfort.
Standard electric heater options include:
- 3.0 kW electric heater
- 5.0 kW electric heater
- Available with applicable fixed-speed and inverter models
- Applicable across selected 7,000–15,000 BTU series
Instant Heat Mode
In applicable heat pump models, the electric heater can operate first during initial heating demand to provide faster room warm-up.
The system can then transition to heat pump operation as normal heating conditions are established.
Easy Installation
The PTAC design uses an integrated chassis and indoor/outdoor sub-assembly structure to simplify installation and equipment replacement.
This packaged configuration reduces the need for extensive refrigerant piping compared with conventional split-system installations.
