What is YUJU Air Basic™ smart zoning?
YUJU Air Basic™ is a room-by-room smart zoning solution designed for central ducted HVAC systems.
Instead of conditioning every room with the same airflow at all times, Air Basic™ allows each room or zone to respond to its own temperature demand.
How does Air Basic™ control individual rooms?
Each controlled room can use an independent thermostat or temperature controller. The zoning system then adjusts a motorized or modulating damper installed in the room's supply-air branch.
When a room requires more cooling or heating, airflow can increase. When the room approaches its setpoint, airflow can be reduced.
How is total airflow controlled?
As zone dampers change position, the required total HVAC airflow also changes. An ECM or variable-speed indoor fan can adjust its airflow or operate according to duct static-pressure control.
How does Air Basic™ work with an inverter heat pump?
Air Basic™ manages room-level airflow while the inverter HVAC equipment can adjust refrigeration capacity according to its own operating logic, including central return-air temperature and system conditions.
