Electronic Air Cleaner, UV-C & PCO
Whole-House Air Purification Systems
Electronic Air Cleaning · Multi-Stage Filtration · UV-C · PCO · HVAC Integration
Indoor air quality requirements vary from project to project. Some HVAC systems mainly require efficient particle removal and reusable air-cleaning components, while others need a more comprehensive solution combining particulate filtration, microorganism control and gaseous-pollutant treatment.
YUJU provides two different duct-mounted air purification solutions for residential, villa, light commercial and selected public-building applications.
Select the appropriate purification technology according to the HVAC system, IAQ objectives, maintenance preference and project requirements.
YUJU provides different air-cleaning technologies for ducted HVAC and whole-house air systems, allowing the purification configuration to be matched to the actual project requirements.
Product 1 — Electronic Air Cleaner
The YUJU Electronic Air Cleaner is designed for HVAC systems that require efficient removal of airborne particles with reusable collector components and relatively low routine replacement-material requirements.
Installed directly within the HVAC air path, the unit uses electrostatic air-cleaning technology to attract and capture particles before they continue through the duct system.
How the Electronic Air Cleaner Works
As return air passes through the electronic air cleaner, airborne particles are electrically charged in the ionization section.
The charged particles are then attracted to collector plates, where they are removed from the airstream before the cleaned air continues through the HVAC system.
Typical Particles Captured
- Dust
- Pollen
- Pet dander
- Lint
- Smoke particles
- Other airborne particulate contaminants
Key Features
| Feature | Function |
| Electrostatic Air Cleaning | Charges and collects airborne particles within the HVAC airstream |
| Washable Collector Cells | Reusable collector components help reduce routine replacement-filter consumption |
| Built-In Airflow Detection | Allows the air cleaner to operate in coordination with HVAC airflow |
| HVAC Equipment Protection | Helps reduce dust accumulation on coils, blowers and downstream components |
| Service-Friendly Design | Designed for convenient cleaning, inspection and maintenance access |
Where the Electronic Air Cleaner Fits Best
This product is suitable for customers who mainly want reusable particulate-control technology integrated into a residential or light-commercial ducted HVAC system.
- Residential homes
- Luxury villas
- Apartments
- Small offices
- Light commercial HVAC systems
- Whole-house ducted air systems
Product 2 — Whole-House Multi-Stage Air Purification Unit
For projects requiring a broader indoor air quality strategy, YUJU also provides a multi-stage purification unit combining media filtration, UV-C treatment and PCO purification.
This solution is designed to address multiple categories of indoor air contaminants through different treatment stages rather than relying on one purification technology alone.
The multi-stage purification configuration combines particulate filtration, UV-C treatment and PCO technology to support more comprehensive indoor air-quality management.
Stage 1 — Media Filtration
The first purification stage uses MERV 11 media filtration to capture common airborne particulate contaminants before the air reaches the downstream purification sections.
Depending on particle size and operating conditions, the filter can help reduce:
- Dust
- Pollen
- Smoke particles
- Fine airborne particles
- Other common particulate contaminants
Stage 2 — UV-C Air Treatment
The second treatment stage incorporates UV-C technology within the air-cleaning section.
UV-C exposure can help inactivate microorganisms passing through the treatment zone and supports cleaner internal air-treatment conditions.
The actual performance depends on UV intensity, exposure time, airflow, microorganism type and the final equipment configuration.
Stage 3 — PCO Purification
The final stage uses photocatalytic oxidation technology to help reduce selected gaseous contaminants and odors.
When UV energy activates the catalytic media, the PCO process can support the treatment of certain VOCs and odor-producing compounds found in indoor environments.
This stage is intended to complement particulate filtration and UV-C treatment as part of a multi-stage indoor air-quality solution.

Cleaned Air to HVAC / Air Distribution System
The purification module can be installed in the HVAC air path so that air is treated before being supplied back to occupied indoor spaces.
Service-Friendly Multi-Stage Design
Maintenance accessibility is an important consideration in any air-purification system.
The multi-stage unit is designed with separated treatment sections and service access to simplify inspection, cleaning and replacement of consumable components.
- Layered purification sections
- Accessible service door
- Replaceable media filter
- UV-C inspection access
- Convenient maintenance of purification components
- Safety interlock design where configured

| System Complexity | Simpler | More comprehensive |
| Typical Applications | Homes, villas, apartments, light commercial | High-end residences, schools, offices, public buildings, AHU and fresh-air applications |
Integration with HVAC & Fresh Air Systems
Both purification technologies are designed to work as part of an HVAC or whole-house air system rather than as isolated room appliances.
Depending on the project, air purification can be coordinated with:
- Air handling units
- Ducted HVAC systems
- Fresh-air ventilation systems
- Whole-house air systems
- Return-air systems
- Temperature and humidity control
- Indoor air-quality monitoring
- Smart HVAC controls
